What is J-Plasma Renuvion?
J-Plasma skin tightening is a revolutionary technology involving subdermal coagulation. Cold Atmosphere Plasma, created by energizing helium plasma with radiofrequency, achieves precise and effective skin tightening. This process allows precise and controlled energy delivery to the skin, enhancing the tightening effect to minimal sagging skin during liposuction.
At Cosmetic Surgery Associates of Maryland, this helium gas treatment is designed as an add-on to liposuction, providing 20-30% more skin tightening than liposuction alone. Renuvion® is ideal for patients with minimal to mild skin laxity and is not recommended for patients with very significant loose skin.
