At Cosmetic Surgery Associates, we offer the liquid facelift as a non-surgical treatment option for patients seeking comprehensive facial rejuvenation. This innovative procedure helps patients enhance their natural beauty and restore a more youthful facial appearance with a personalized combination of dermal fillers and neuromodulators. Our expert providers skillfully tailor each liquid facelift to your unique facial anatomy and aesthetic goals, delivering subtle yet transformative results.
What is a Liquid Facelift?
A liquid facelift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses injectable fillers and neuromodulators to address signs of facial aging like fine lines and wrinkles, deep facial folds, volume loss, and mildly sagging skin. Unlike traditional facelift surgery, a liquid facelift requires no incisions or general anesthesia, offering a safer alternative with virtually no downtime. This combination treatment addresses multiple signs of aging, providing a natural, youthful glow.

Good Candidates for a Liquid Facelift
Good candidates for a liquid facelift are healthy adults looking to restore youthful contours in their face without surgical procedures. Patients should have good skin elasticity and minimal amounts of loose skin for optimal results.
Ideal patients may notice volume loss in their cheeks, deepening nasolabial folds, fine lines, or sagging around the jawline and eyes. Those seeking refreshed facial contours and skin texture improvements with minimal recovery time typically benefit most. Candidates should have realistic expectations and no known allergies to injectable products used during the procedure.
Patients are encouraged to ask questions so that they will feel comfortable with each step of their treatment and recovery.
How a Liquid Facelift Works
A liquid facelift works by strategically injecting cosmetic fillers into key areas of the face to create harmonious and balanced results. Common treatment zones include the cheeks, mid-face, jawline, chin, temples, and around the eyes and mouth. The procedure is typically performed with a combination of fillers and neuromodulators.
Dermal Fillers
There are two main types of fillers. Hyaluronic-acid fillers from Juvederm and Restylane build volume and restore glowing skin with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that draws water molecules to help the skin retain moisture. Collagen-stimulating fillers from Sculptra and Radiesse encourage the production of collagen and elastin, proteins in the skin that provide structure and give the skin a firmer texture. Different types of fillers work best for different areas of the face and are used to treat deep wrinkles, facial folds, and loss of definition in the cheekbones, jawline, and temples.
Neuromodulators
We offer a variety of neuromodulators or botulinum toxin injectables, including Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. These injectables target dynamic wrinkles caused by natural aging and repeated facial expressions. Botulinum toxin type A temporarily relaxes the facial muscles to smooth fine lines like crow’s feet at the corners of the eyes, glabellar lines (frown lines) between the brows, horizontal forehead lines, and marionette lines on the chin.
Consultation
The liquid facelift treatment begins with a personalized consultation at Cosmetic Surgery Associates. During this visit, our board-certified plastic surgeons will evaluate your facial features, skin condition, and medical history. They will discuss your unique aesthetic goals to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses specific aging concerns to achieve optimal skin volume and smoothness.
Liquid Facelift Procedure
The liquid facelift procedure is typically completed in under an hour in our comfortable office setting. After cleansing the face and applying a topical numbing cream, your provider will carefully administer the injectable fillers and neuromodulators to create natural-looking results that blend flawlessly with the surrounding skin. Patients can immediately return to work or other daily activities after treatment.
Liquid Facelift Recovery
Recovery from a liquid facelift is minimal, allowing most patients to resume daily activities immediately. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at injection sites is common but generally resolves within a few days. Cold compresses and anti-inflammatory medication can be used to minimize swelling and discomfort. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, excessive sun exposure, and harsh skincare products for the first 24-48 hours to prevent the filler product from shifting.
Results from a Liquid Facelift
Some results from a liquid facelift are visible immediately, but patients will continue to see improvement as swelling subsides, new collagen develops, and the product settles into the skin. You will notice more defined facial contours, smoother skin texture, and softened wrinkles, restoring your naturally youthful appearance. Results can last six to eighteen months, depending on the specific products used and your body’s metabolism. Regular treatments can help sustain your youthful look over time.
