How Scar Camouflage Works
Scar camouflage works by altering the color, texture, or visibility of the scar. This can involve collagen stimulation for smoother skin texture, laser skin resurfacing, or application of topical agents to soften and minimize scars. Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates the natural healing process, which includes new collagen production. Collagen is a protein in the skin that gives it structure and a firmer texture. As new, healthy skin is resurfaced and new collagen develops, superficial scars are covered up, restoring smooth, evenly textured skin.
