SKINVIVE Procedure
The SKINVIVE procedure takes less than an hour to complete in our Bethesda, MD office. First, your skin is cleansed, and then small amounts of hyaluronic acid are injected superficially using ultra-fine needles. The entire process is minimally invasive, and most patients experience only brief and minor swelling, redness, or tenderness at injection sites, which typically subside within a day or two.
SKINVIVE Recovery
Recovery after SKINVIVE treatment is minimal, allowing you to return to almost all natural activities right away. However, strenuous activities and excess sun exposure should be avoided for 48 hours for optimal results. Patients must also avoid touching or massaging the treatment area for the first 24 hours so that the SKINVIVE formula can evenly settle into the skin. Temporary redness or swelling may occur, but will resolve within a day.

Patients will instantly see a more refreshed appearance, and results will continue to develop for a few days following treatment as the SKINVIVE product settles into the treated area.
