Concerns About Having a Facelift in a Hospital
I see patients every week for facial rejuvenation who put off coming in for a consultation because of concerns about having to go to the hospital for the procedure. They worry that in the hustle and bustle of the hospital, they won’t receive the kind of care they need because their case isn’t “necessary” and might be considered frivolous.
They also don’t want others to know about their surgery due to fears of being seen as vain, not to mention the risk of having surgery in an environment that may have previously treated a patient with a serious infection. Another common concern is the high costs hospitals charge self-pay patients to offset the money they may lose on indigent cases.
A Private, Accredited Surgery Center as an Alternative
All of these reasons led me to open my own surgery center, where I can perform elective procedures in a clean, well-regulated environment that I control.
When you have your surgery in our center, there are no other considerations beyond your safety and comfort. Sterility is strictly maintained, and we never perform procedures on infected patients. You are in and out without anyone knowing you had surgery.
Our center is Quad-A certified and follows all the required guidelines to maintain that certification.
Experienced Surgical Team and Exceptional Cleanliness
Our staff members are the best we’ve ever worked with—in all the hospitals we operated in prior to opening our center ten years ago. We recruited them by offering regular hours and competitive pay.
Most of our surgical staff served in the military and have extensive experience with complex cases, which makes them exceptional technicians. The attention to cleanliness that experience has instilled in them is phenomenal.
Every two weeks, the entire surgical area undergoes a “field clean,” during which every piece of equipment, as well as the entire operating room, is deep-cleaned from top to bottom. I often joke that they don’t need to scrub the ceiling—yet they smile at me and do it anyway!
Safe Facelift Surgery Without a Hospital Stay
To answer the initial question: yes, you can have your facelift safely at our surgery center without going to the hospital, regardless of the type of anesthesia you choose—local, sedation, or general.
A Personal Invitation
I look forward to seeing you in our clinic.
All the Best,
Dr. Jabs
