It’s been 5 days since the hair transplant. My scalp has definitely “come alive”, in that it is SORE, especially in the back where the hair was harvested. I shouldn’t be surprised since we took 1200 grafts from the back and put them in the front. That is 2400 holes!
It is already looking more natural. My recent haircut helped a bunch. I still have to be careful sleeping so that I don’t lay on the front part because it is sensitive too. Swelling is minimal. I started showering with soap applied in a two-finger circular motion today which felt really good. The hair is slanted forward (as is normal hair on the top of the scalp) and it is already starting to feel as if it is lying down. I just look like I have a “high and tight” haircut as my Navy buddy Ben calls it.
I can exercise now and took the opportunity to go to the driving range today to hit 2 buckets of balls.
No problem.
I’ll post some more pics as time goes by to show you how it looks as it grows out.
