3 months Since Hair Restoration

OK, it’s been a  little over 3 months since I had my procedure here in the office. I have let my hair grow out a bit, including what was left in the front where I had the restoration. So far it has been easy. The one thing I can say is that it itches a bit and some of the follicles have gotten red as they return to growing. There really isn’t any filling in yet, as expected, because the follicles are in a resting or telogen phase. As they begin to grow and go into the anagen phase the density will increase. So for now and probably the next 3 to 4 mos I have to be patient and know it will improve. Right now it actually looks more sparse than it did immediately after the procedure because so many of the hair shafts that were transplanted have fallen out. NOT the follicle, just the shaft, which will grow back again as the follicle shifts out of its transplant shock and into the growth (anagen) phase. Here is where I stand now. More to follow.
