Academics and Training
He graduated from Dartmouth College, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He went on to complete his training in general surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Therefore, he honed his skills in the field of plastic surgery by receiving specialized training in New York at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center. He followed this with an intensive fellowship training in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Children’s National Medical Center in DC.
Experience in Plastic Surgery
Prior to joining the Cosmetic Surgery Associates group, Dr. Magge worked for several years with Canton Plastic Surgeons, a member of the Aultman Medical Group. He now performs some of the latest and most advanced cosmetic and reconstructive procedures along with highest quality care to patients in the Maryland, Virginia and DC metro area.
Some of the key plastic surgery procedures where Dr. Magge has extensive surgical experience include breast enhancement, breast lift, breast reduction, breast reconstructive surgery after mastectomy, facelift, face implants, eyelid lift, nose surgery, abdominoplasty, thigh lift, body contouring, and liposuction.
In addition to his practice as a member of Cosmetic Surgery Associates, Dr. Magge will also be on staff at Shady Grove Hospital, Suburban Hospital, and Inova Fairfax Hospital. He receives patients from Northern Virginia, Fairfax County, Alexandria, VA, Chevy Chase, Rockville, MD, Montgomery County, Washington DC, and nearby locations.

During his practice years in Ohio, Dr. Magge also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery for Northeast Ohio Medical University, and dedicated his time to educate medical students. He has written extensively on plastic surgery, has authored book chapters and research papers, and made presentations at premier national meetings of plastic surgeons.
Apart from his professional commitments, Dr. Magge also devotes time to humanitarian causes whenever possible. He has been on a medical mission to Vietnam through Resurge International where he treated children with cleft lips and palates, and congenital deformities. He is honorable and a pillar of the community.
